Our world is full of it. And don't give me that 'life isn't fair' crap, that's exactly what I'm complaining about. Our world sucks. End of Story. Not really, but I'm too annoyed to think about that. Not after the only thing a friend talks to you about is your best friend, and that someone you thought of as close misinterprets honest advice as mockery and gives you shit for it.

the bedding in their hut, I must
remeber to get them a new tunnel
or hammock, they literally loved
the last ones to pieces ^^

'Dedicated Nerd'
so, does spending nearly 12hrs straight on my laptop make me a nerd?
does choosing home over the ice-skating rink make me dedicated?
I wandered downstairs for a break not 5 mins ago, and poked my head into the room where my sister and her friend was watching some sci-fi shoot-em'-up. They turned when I came in, and to my surprise asked where I had been that day. When I told them in my room, her friend surmised that I 'really am a dedicated nerd.' I shook my head and laughed, but as I went back upstairs, I started wondering about this.
I've never really thought about myself as a nerd, so I consulted google.
Wikipaedia told me: Nerd (pronounced /ˈnɜrd/) is a term often bearing a derogatory connotation or stereotype, that refers to a person who passionately pursues intellectual activities, esoteric knowledge, or other obscure interests rather than engaging in more social or popular activities. Therefore, a nerd is often excluded from physical activity and considered a loner by peers or will tend to associate with like-minded people.
and the Urban Dictionary said:
1. One whose IQ exceeds his weight.
2. An individual persecuted for his superior skills or intellect, most often by people who fear and envy him.
3. An 'individual', i.e. a person who does not conform to society's beliefs that all people should follow trends and do what their peers do. Often highly intelligent but socially rejected because of their obesssion with a given subject, usually computers. Unfortunately, nerds seem to have problems breeding, to the detriment of mankind as a whole.

Life Among Superiors
I'm not the only person that seems to be always looking up to everyone am I?
well, I hope not, because I do not exactly like it.
I've never really been a very hardcore gamer, and it seems when I play Evony, I'm constantly sizing up the odds of attacking/being attacked by those bigger than I.
It seems that as you become more succesful, those under you fall away, revealing larger, more dangerous opponents. uh oh.
But it's not just in Evony that I've noticed this happening. Everywhere I go, when I'm among peers, I seem to only be looking up at those sitting on the higher seats.
Why is this? Something to ponder on a rainy day

Yay! Hyperactivity rocks! And Broadband! Even Better!
okay, so yes, we got the broadband back *huge grin*
and uh, went to Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince yesterday. It was cool, but a little to fast-paced: a lot of details were skipped out.
BUT! after the movie we passed a lolly shop. And um, so I didn't sleep at all last night, to hyped up on sugar. Sorry, folks in the ReVo alliance of Evony! But thanks for putting up with me!

So Why Does it Hate Me?
okay, broadband sucks. Seriously. I'm waiting until it resets (we've gone over the limit) so I can download Dragonica, a MMORPG, and its being stupid. The internet/download speed is starting fast, then dropping to around 3kb per second. Huzzah.
